the UnbalaNced Game is on!

We’ve just released the early prototype of the UnbalaNced Game, a physics-based experiment where you’re not really in control of yourself — you’re being dragged around and just trying to keep up.

The idea behind the game is simple

Go from point A to point B. The challenge? You can’t walk. You’re square-shaped. You’re attached to a heavy ball. You launch the ball around and get dragged along the way. We expect you to make this work.

It’s the digital equivalent of working in a group project where one person does all the heavy lifting and the other just flails around and hopes for the best. Or maybe it’s like being part of a family business where the cousin who never shows up somehow still gets a paycheck. Either way, someone’s getting dragged — and sometimes it’s you.

We believe this is the kind of game that starts off frustrating (by design!), but as you start to understand the physics, the momentum, and the absurdity of it all, it becomes something oddly satisfying — even joyful. There’s a beauty in figuring out how to move without actually having direct control over your own movement.

This is a very early prototype. It's missing most of the art assets. It definitely has bugs. But we trust that players will understand it for what it is: a raw idea, wrapped in chaos, ready to be tested.

If you try it out, let us know what you think — and if you break it (or master it), we’d love to hear about that too.
